NIGHTINGALE House is holding an Auction of Promises - with some fantastic lots on offer.

There are more than 60 auction lots to bid for with something for everyone.

Fancy a hair-raising ride in a hovercraft, a huge cuddly toy to keep you warm at night or a more sedate luxury pampering day?

Or what about a signed Bryan Adams album, tickets to Chester Races or a chance to watch the filming of the BBC sports quiz, A Question of Sport? Name the right price and the lots on offer could be yours.

The auction, on April 22, will begin at 7.30pm in Brymbo Sports and Social Club, with viewing from 6.30pm. Throughout the evening a very charismatic auctioneer will entertain the crowds, tempting bidders to purchase great items and raise as much money as possible for Nightingale House Hospice.

Also, music will be provided by popular local band The Stetsons, with a disco to round off the evening.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £4 for children, which also includes a buffet. If you fancy a fun-filled evening to help your local hospice, then call the fundraising department on 01978 314292 to purchase your tickets.

Among the items on offer are a Bryan Adams signed CD; a signed Everton team football; signed Manchester United pennant 2004/2005 season; a signed copy of The Last Juror by John Grisham; a voucher for a Spa Facial by Matis, Lavender House of Beauty, Church Street, Wrexham; two tickets to a mediaeval banquet at Ruthin Castle; tickets for a family of four to visit the Liverpool Football Club Museum and Tour Centre and many, many more.
