THE North Wales NHS Trust staged a presentation ceremony at the end of 2008 to mark the contribution of staff who have completed 25 years service.

Almost 100 staff working for the trust within Flintshire and Wrexham achieved that milestone last year.

About 50 of them attended the event, which took place in the Riverside Restaurant at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

To mark their achievements, each member of staff was presented with signed certificates by trust chairman Michael Williams.

They also received £100 gift vouchers as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the health service.

Mr Williams said: “This presentation will be our chance to thank staff for the extraordinary commitment and loyalty they show to the health service, and to the patients we serve.

“I’d like to express my admiration, and thanks, to each of them for their efforts over the past quarter of a century and more.”
