LLANDUDNO Town, upbeat after their Welsh Cup triumph at Prestatyn Town, will resume their league title campaign today by entertaining the 2005/6 champions Glantraeth.

But joint managers Deiniol Graham and James Cornish are concerned at their team’s home form, having dropped seven points at Maesdu Park as against none away.

“Our form is great on our opponents’ grounds,” said Cornish. “But we have got to put things right at Maesdu Park, starting right now.”

Fourth-from-top Llandudno will have a full squad on standby for a change, with the return of Bryn Jenkins, Darren Jones, Neil Coverley and Sean Eardley.

Glantraeth, shell-shocked after their Welsh Cup exit at Mynydd Isa and no wins in five outings, admit to having been punished for their shortcomings in attack.

Manager Paul Whelan said: “We are short in the goals’ department and lack speed up front but a win can work wonders, and we are due one.”

Rob Williams may be recalled with Paul Tilbury suspended and Barry Jones struggling with a hamstring problem.

High-flying Bala Town, four points clear, bid to cement their place at the top when they visit Guilsfield, writes John Bridgwater.

Colin Caton's unbeaten side make the trip in good heart with five wins from six outings, while they underlined their credentials with last weekend's 6-2 Welsh Cup win over Denbigh.

Strike duo Mark Griffiths and Neil Fisher have proved a real handful in front of goal, and the visitors will be hoping they can continue their good form.

Defender Llion Roberts and Wes Brereton are both back in the frame for the leaders, who hope to be close to full strength today.

Guilsfield will be without former Bala defender Glenn Evans through suspension while Mattie Newton is also out with a three-match ban.

Flint Town manager Paul Davies has signed goalkeeper Adam McGee from Gap Queen's Park and hopes the transfer will go through in time so he can make his debut in today's game at Gresford, writes Mike McEvoy.

“Adam had two years with Airbus and is an experienced keeper so we are delighted to have him with us,” said the Silkmen's boss.

Flint also hope to welcome back injured pair Stefan Halewood and Paul Davies to bolster their defence after being out injured for the past month.
