A TEAM of talented drama students dropped into The Whitby High School to perform for the school’s budding actors.
The group of third year undergraduates from Liverpool John Moores University – including former Whitby pupil Thomas Moore – visited the school’s drama department to share their skills.
The students led a practical workshop and performed their devised play Bits and Bobs for sixth form drama pupils.
The play was written, directed and performed by John Moores drama students specifically as a theatre in education performance for college-aged pupils.
Teacher Miss Kilbride said: “I feel this was a wonderful opportunity to host and take part in this unique experience from Liverpool John Moores University and its drama students.
“The initial proposal was brought to me by former Whitby drama student Thomas Moore, who is now in his third year studying drama.
“It is always an honour to welcome back former students, whilst allowing the experience to enhance our sixth form’s range of theatrical experiences.”
