LIVE music fans can end the year on a high at a special Christmas show next week.

The End of Year Christmas Ball is being organised by Ellesmere Port music promotion company CDS Entertainment at Great Sutton Village Hall on December 23.

The four acts performing on the night include A41, DrySpell, Makelikemadeline and The Dirty Delinquents.

Doors open at 7pm and all ages are welcome. Admission is £4.

Madelikemadeline will be enjoying their Ellesmere Port debut, after a host of recent popular shows around the North West – including two self funded tours to gain exposure and a major accomplishment of supporting large acts such as The Cancer Bats.

The band consists of Martin Lopez (guitar), Rich O’Brien (vocals), Neil Denby (bass) and Stephen Jones (drums).Š

The band formed two years agoŠand showcases the genres of SouthernŠrock and hardcore, which have both had a massive surge in popularity in the area.Š

CDS spokesman Stephen McMillan said: “Not to single out fans of other musical genres, the night will also feature bands showcasing the Indie, Rock, and Electronica genres.”
