BRIAN Little admits he is tempted to ring the changes for Saturday’s trip to new leaders Salisbury City (3pm) in a bid to cure Wrexham’s travel sickness.

The Dragons are still waiting for their first away win of the season after Monday’s 1-1 draw at Altrincham followed the stalemate at Rushden and Diamonds and the defeat at York.

Their on-the-road displays are in complete contrast to how they have performed at the Racecourse so far, with last Thursday night’s 2-0 victory over Oxford coming on the back of the demolition of Stevenage.

Boss Little insists he is not telling his players to change their approach to away games and aims to iron out the problem before the clash with Salisbury, who, having won four on the spin, now top the Blue Square Premier.

Little, whose eighth-placed side entertain Nigel Clough’s 11th-placed Burton Albion on Tuesday (7.45pm), said: “We’re in a division where we are looked upon as the team everybody wants to play against and we’ve got a reputation on the performances of our two home games, so it’s disappointing that we’re not taking those performances away from home when I know we are capable of doing that.

“It was the same team against Altrincham that it was against Oxford, so do I have to pick a different team away from home?

“There’s no instruction from us other than to get among them, get at them and play good football and try and score goals. But that’s not happened yet.

“I can’t wait forever for the same team to produce the same result away from home. We might well find we have different personnel who can do it away from home and I said to all of them that I’m not here to sit and watch them do it one week, but not the next.”

The point at Alty leaves the Dragons just two points off the play-offs but four off Salisbury.

And Little knows that gap will only get bigger if they don’t start picking up points at places like Altrincham and Salisbury.

Little said: “We’ve seen a couple of things in our home games that have pleased us, but what we can’t afford to do is let them become the absolute musts for us to do well in this league. We have to win games away from home.”

Left-back Carl Tremarco has been called up to the England C squad for their friendly withBosnia & Herzegovina in Sarajevo on September 16.

The dad-to-be, whose Dragons team-mate Darran Kempson is on the standby list, said: “I wasn’t sure what to believe at first and then when I realised it was true, I remembered that my partner is expecting a baby just a few days before the match!

“Whatever happens though, it's a great honour.”

Steve Evans has been named in the Wales squad for the World Cup qualifiers with Azerbaijan and Russia while fellow defender Michael Williams will be in the Wales Under 21s party that heads to Romania for their crucial UEFA European U21 Championship clash.
