ENJOY Vivaldi’s most popular work in a classy and atmospheric candle-lit performance – for free!

We have two pairs of tickets to give away for The Four Seasons By Candlelight at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on Friday, October 30, at 7:30pm.

The sumptuous evening will be performed by the Mozart Festival Orchestra in full 18th Century costume in an evocative candle-lit setting.

As well as favourite pieces from The Four Seasons, the orchestra will also perform various other popular classics.

These include Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No 3, Handel’s I Know My Redeemer Liveth, Purcell’s Trumpet Suite, Charpentier’s Opening of the Te Deum, Stanley’s Trumpet Voluntary, Bach’s Air on the G String and Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets.

Violinist David Juritz will direct the performance, which features soprano Gail Pearson and trumpeters Crispian Steele-Perkins and Tom Rainer.
