THE Hospice of the Good Shepherd is giving people a unique opportunity to remember someone special who is no longer with them to share the festive season.
Even if their loved one was not cared for at the Backford-based unit, people can still be a part of the campaign.
Amanda Le Bretton, hospice fundraising and marketing manager, said:” Our Light up a Life campaign has become a very meaningful part of Christmas to many people, as it gives them a chance to keep memories of their loved ones alive.
“Having a light shining in remembrance of someone special and hanging a personalised Memory Star on one of our Hospice Christmas trees is their quiet way of celebrating.
“We hope residents will join us this year to support their local hospice so others can receive the wonderful care that many of us have experienced,”
Everyone taking part in our Light up a Life campaign will receive a special dedication card, memory star and their loved ones’ name will appear in our Hospice Book of Life.
