LITTLE Sutton pop queen Laura Critchley is delighted at winning her first-ever singing award.
The 24-year-old singer has been named Best Live Performer after touring with Boyzone. She has also supported the Sugababes.
Laura said: “It all happened at the Big Buzz Awards held at the Hilton Hotel in Belfast.
“I thought I was just there to sing the songs but, to my surprise, I ended up picking up the award for Best Live Performance 2008 for my Boyzone performance in Northern Ireland.
“It was a great night and my first award ever, which was great.
“Reality star Pete Bennett from Big Brother 7 was there too and we partied the night away.”
