NO OBJECTIONS were raised when plans were put forward to extend a bay window at a detached dormer bungalow.

The application was made at the front of Westering, Boathouse Lane, Parkgate by Mrs Eileen John.

Mrs John told planning officers at Cheshire West and Chester Council she wished to enlarge the bay window which would have glazing and render to match the property.

No objections were raised by Neston Town Council and there were no comments from Parkgate borough councillor Brenda Dowding (Con) who was notified.

The main issues were the design and if the enlarged window would have an unacceptably detrimental effect on the amenity of neighbouring residents, planners believed.

Subject to a condition requiring the use of matching materials, they believed the development would be sufficiently in keeping with the character of the bungalow and its surroundings.

The application was recommended for approval and permission was granted.
