IF you are thinking of holidaying abroad this year and want to learn enough to get by, Sir John Deane’s College has a range of courses to choose from.
The courses are in German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish and are a great introduction to the language if you are considering a longer course.
Topics covered include travel and transport, ordering food and drinks, shopping and talking about yourself and your family.
A 10-week Greek language course starts today (Wednesday) from 7-9pm, costing £70. Also starting today is an Italian course, lasting eight weeks, costing £55 and running weekly from 7-9.15pm.
On Monday, May 11, an eight- week German class costing £55 will start, which runs from 4.45-6.45pm weekly.
An eight-week Portuguese programme begins on the same day from 7-9pm, at £55.
Spanish classes, £70, also begin on May 11, from 7-9pm.
