Students from the Little Voices Chester performing arts school in Hoole have achieved a 100% pass rate in their recent London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations.

The children took exams in musical theatre and poetry recital with Jasmine Lewis Palmer of Lache, achieving a distinction with a score of 95 out of 100.

Jasmine said: “I am so happy, it is so rewarding to have all my hard work judged so highly. I can’t wait to do another exam and next time I’m going to try and get 100 out of 100.”

Amelie McAllister of Hoole received a merit in her poetry recital exam and Joe Head, Harry Nixon and Louie Harrision of Hoole and Great Sutton were also awarded a merit for their group musical theatre examination.

Staff at Little Voices focus on traditional teaching methods in singing and acting, delivered in small group lessons to maximise student development.

Principals Kathryn Delaney and Tilly Coppin said: “We are thrilled that our students’ talents have been recognised through these amazing results and are so proud of all of them. It is always rewarding to be part of an organisation that helps students to achieve their ambitions.”
