COMIC antics with a watery theme take centre stage in Whitegate this Saturday as 24 teams battle it out in a spectacular It’s A Knockout contest.
More than 1,000 people are expected to attend the event, organised by local group Whitegate Charity, to raise funds for the North West Air Ambulance Service.
The fun and fundraising starts at 11am on the village football field. Entry is free although donations for the air ambulance service will be gratefully received.
Many of the teams are appearing in fancy dress and more than 13,000 litres of water are required for the various games.
Refreshments will be available all day.
