CHESHIRE Police are urging residents to look after their elderly neighbours.
Det Sgt Barry Brown said: “Occasionally, the vulnerable are targeted by unscrupulous offenders who look to befriend them and then relieve them of money and possessions.
“In the coming weeks and months, please look out for your neighbours and if you are suspicious of any new friends or associates or any general labourers carrying out work for the elderly, then please let us know.”
