TOM KEARNEY issued a rallying cry ahead of Wrexham’s clash at Stafford Rangers today – the promotion battle starts here.
The Dragons are at Marston Road this afternoon for a final pre-season friendly before their Blue Square Premier campaign begins with the visit of Stevenage next Saturday.
And Kearney said last night: “Everybody involved at the club has got their eye on one thing – getting promotion next season.
“It’s all about how we start the season. We need a really positive start to the season to give us momentum and confidence, so it all starts tomorrow.
“We have got to take confidence from the game, use it to get our fitness and be bang at it from the very start against Stevenage next week.”
