A FREE jobs fair is being organised for businesses in the borough.
Taking place tomorrow (Thursday), from 10-4pm at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall, the event aims to give firms a platform to promote themselves and their vacancies.
A number of interview zones will be provided on the day so bosses can have formal chats with potential recruits.
The fair is being organised by the borough council, and its employment and skills team will be on hand to help out.
Borough economic development zone employment coordinator Steve Bridge said: “The fair will provide an ideal opportunity for businesses to promote themselves and their vacancies to local residents and to fill their vacancies in a cost-effective and productive way.
“We will be marketing it across the wards in which the employment and skills team works, which is 13,500 households, so we are anticipating a strong turnout.”
There are 30 free spaces for businesses, available on a first come, first served basis. Fifteen employers have already booked their place.
