WORKERS at the Raytheon Jets factory at Broughton have mourned the deaths of four senior employees killed in airliner attacks which shocked the world on Tuesday.

All four were passengers on flights which crashed into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington.

'Our hearts go out to the families, friends and co-workers of those we have lost and all who perished in this national tragedy,' said Raytheon chairman and chief executive Dan Burnham.

The four were named as Peter Gay, 54, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, Stanley Hall, 68, of Rancho Palos Verdes, Califorinia, David P Kovalcin, 42, of Hudson, New Hampshire, and Kenneth E Waldie, 46, of Methuen, Massachusetts.

Raytheon is offering grief counselling and emotional support for victims'

families and employees through its employee assistance programme.

The company, which has headquarters in Lexington, Massachusetts, has also set up a special fund to help all victims and is providing disaster relief through a grant it made to the American Red Cross earlier this year.
