THERE’S no place like home for a much-loved pub manager as he returned to his happy hunting ground after nearly seven years away.
James Crawley, known as Jimmy, has returned to manage the Daniel Thwaites-owned One to Five pub on Town Hill.
The move is something of a homecoming for Jimmy who had worked for 17 years in the pub industry in Wrexham, before his stint working in his hometown, Liverpool.
Jimmy said: “It’s great to be back in my adopted town and I’m excited about returning One to Five to its rightful place as the top bar in the town. Since taking over, we’ve been working hard on training staff as well as making changes to our great food menu.”
He added: “I’m delighted to join the Daniel Thwaites team and am confident I can help bring One to Five back to its former glory.”
