THE Banned Network rings out the festive changes at Winnington Rec on Friday with a fancy dress disco for fans.
Headlining the action will be Italian band The Shiver, who are currently touring the UK, with an arresting mix of dark rock with metal waves all delivered with a melodic voice.
Formed in 2004, the line-up includes three boys on guitar, bass and drums and a female vocalist. Last year they signed a discographic contract with UK Division (UK)and a debut album is out any time now.
Warming up the audience will be Kids Can’t Fly, a ska-punk outfit from Southampton, formed from a nucleus of local and national band members with a huge amount of stage and song-writing experience between them.
They have supported some of the most popular ska and punk bands in this country and America.
Support comes from local lads, Geneva’s Lab and hardcore rockers Blacktop.
Doors open at 7.00pm, and entry is £4.50.
