MINERA school is inviting pupils, past and present, to its open evening to take a look at the new facilities following a £750,000 extension and refurbishment.

The annual event sees pupils acting as tour guides and showing friends and families around the school.

This year, headteacher Andrew Partridge is also inviting past pupils and members of the community to see the revamped school on November 27 between 6-7.30pm.

Mr Partridge said: “The school has undergone a major transformation and it looks fantastic.

“I’d like as many people as possible here on the night to see for themselves how the school is set for the 21st Century.”
