INJURY problems continue to plague Colwyn Bay ahead of their clash with Quorn at Llanelian Road (3pm).

Already with four players on the casualty list, the Seagulls lost skipper James Olsen at half time of their midweek win at Alsager Town with a knee strain and Chris Taylor suffered a calf injury.

“It’s a concern, but I think our squad is strong enough to cope,” said Bay manager Gary Finley.

“I’ve called for more consistency and the players have done everything I’ve asked of them in the last three games.

“We’ve picked up seven points out of nine, including two away games.”

Bay go into today’s match seven points off the play-off places, but with games in hand on all but one of the teams above them.

Another victory will make ground on Gresley Rovers or Nantwich, who play each other, and Goole, who are in cup action.

This will be the Seagulls’ first meeting of the season with Quorn with a quick return tussle at Sutton Park scheduled for next Saturday.

Top-scorer Neil Black will again be a key man for the Seagulls, his goal in the 2-1 win at Alsager putting him on 22 for the season.
