Inaugural Libby O’Brien golf cup to take place in Ellesmere Port in aid of hospice

GOLF enthusiasts are invited to take a swing at a charity golf day.

The inaugural event in aid of Claire House Hospice is called the Libby O’Brien Cup golf event and will be held at Ellesmere Port Golf Club, on Chester Road, Childer Thornton, on Friday July 9.

It has been organised by the family of two year old Libby O’Brien who died last year of a rare form of bone cancer.

Teams of four and individuals are invited to get involved to take on the 18 hole challenge.

It is £12 for members to enter and £20 for non members.
