A CONCERT held in aid of Nightingale House Hospice raised £845.

This was the third concert held by organisers Coed y Glyn Ladies and Rhos Orpheus Male Choir in memory of former chorister Stuart Wilson, who was cared for at Nightingale House.

The evening of music took place at Capel y Groes.

The audience was entertained by the Rhos Orpheus Male Choir, conducted by Mr Eifion Wyn Jones and accompanied by Mrs Ann Phillips.

The choir was joined by tenor soloist Mr Alf Gladman and flautist Rebekah Shaw, who was accompanied by her mother.

Performers gave their services for free and Capel y Groes donated the use of the chapel for the evening. All proceeds were donated to the hospice.
