WEAVER Vale Housing Trust has picked up three prestigious awards for high standards of service.
The trust was presented with the awards from the UK’s Telecare Services Association for excellence in each of the three areas judged as part of the accreditation process to the TSA Code of Practice.
They come as a reward to the trust’s new business and independent living teams which had to undergo rigorous scrutiny to achieve the accreditation to the TSA Code of Practice.
Crissy Watson, independent living team manager for Weaver Vale Housing Trust, said: “This is a tremendous achievement and recognises the hard work and commitment shown by the trust’s new business and independent living team.
“This accreditation will act as a springboard towards ensuring that Telecare continues to improve the quality of life for those most vulnerable in our community.”
The three areas of work that were judged as part of the accreditation process were how the trust handled calls from service users, how technology is installed in people’s homes and response to calls when sensors are activated.
