HOUSING inspectors are looking for people to help improve services – and get paid for it.

The Audit Commission is seeking up to 30 current or recent social housing tenants to become tenant inspection advisers (TIAs).

They will inspect housing association and local authority housing services alongside full-time inspectors.

The job could involve being away from home for up to four days at a time, but advisers would be paid up to £141 a day plus expenses, including travel and accommodation.
