A BRYMBO man who admitted supplying heroin to a small group of addicts has been jailed for three-and-a-half years.
At Mold Crown Court Nicholas Vaughan, 31, admitted possessing heroin with intent to supply.
Defending, John Hedgecoe said it was a very sad case of a young man who had started using cannabis at the age of 15.
But he had graduated to heroin and had been using 'the awful drug' for a long time.
However, following his arrest and remand in Altcourse Prison, Liverpool, he had become clean of drugs for the first time for many years.
He had put on two-and-a-half stone in weight and had been following various drugs courses.
The test would come when he was eventually released back into the community where he had been associating for a long time with other drug users, said Mr Hedgecoe.
But he was currently very positive and had been able to stay away from drugs while in prison.
'He was dealing not for profit but to fund his own habit and that of his partner.
'He was dealing to a small number of people that he knew who were addicts like him,' said Mr Hedgecoe.
