THE search is under way to find this year’s community champions.
Trinity Mirror Cheshire – publisher of the Wrexham Chronicle – has again joined forces with ScottishPower to host Your Champions 2008 which pays tribute to those who make a difference in our area.
Your Champions has been highlighting the good work of individuals and groups since 1988 and we want you to tell us who should get the red-carpet treatment this year.
Our heroes and heroines will be honoured at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chester on Friday, November 14.
The Chronicle is delighted to be linking up with ScottishPower, which is committed to supporting local communities.
There are many people in the community whose voluntary work goes unreported.
People who are unsung carers, teams of people who are environ-mentally active, young people who are exceptional in sport, amazing schools, so many in our region who are going out and doing great work, but make a real difference.
We want you to nominate them and bring their good deeds to the wider audience.
