A NORTHWICH woman and two friends from Winsford are preparing to revisit Peru to bring much needed help and assistance to a school for the children of sherpas in the hills above Cusco.

Penny Tatt from Delamere Park tackled the famous Inca Trail two years ago for charity followed soon after by her two friends.

As a thank you for the kindness they experienced on the treks the trio have joined a project set up to provide equipment for the school high up in the hills.

Penny and her neighbour Christine Evans have also been busily knitting dolls for all the children in addition to raising money to provide pens, paper and other basics for the school.

If anyone has any non-languaged based games they would like to donate, please contact Penny on 01606 888613.
