HALLOWE’EN fans should head to Church Farm in Thurstaston this month for Scareshow.

Taking place from October 14-26, the mini-theme park offers The Haunted Hay Ride, The Creepy Cottage and the Nightmare Circus, an interactive scare experience with evil clowns.

Adults, teenagers and older children can enjoy the evening Fright and Fear rides, while fun rides during the day cater for younger scare fans.

Inspired by American haunted house experiences, co-producer Matthew Ledsham and family started Scareshow in 1997. Since then it’s grown from a small-scale amusement for locals to a professional operation employing 30 actors, utilising the latest in scare technology.

Matthew said: “It’s like being part of a film; we get you as close as possible to the action.

“The story this year is that there’s been a deadly virus outbreak.”

Tickets for Scareshow must be pre-booked and are available from www.scareshow.com or 0151 648 7838. Š
