THERE will be spooky goings-on at National Trust property Erddig, near Wrexham this weekend.

A number of owls and the gentle giant Hagrid from Happy Potter will join them to tell you tales from the great boy wizard.

Then there will be a casket full of creepy crawlies with scorpions, snakes and spiders, some you might be able to touch.

But you’ll certainly be able to put your hand into the maggot lucky dip thanks to Chrysalis pets. You can have your face painted, make models of witches and perhaps even your own broomstick.

The Erddig Halloween Special day is on Sunday, October 26, from noon-4pm. Normal admission prices will apply.
