A TIBETAN portable shrine, complete with a figure of the Buddha, will be among rare antiques and works of art available to purchase at an antique and fine art fair at Arley Hall this weekend.
The portable shrine dates from about 1880 and might once have been the treasured possession of a Tibetan monk.
Traditional antiques including Victorian and Edwardian furniture and 19th and 20th Century jewellery and silver also feature along with rare collectibles and an unusual watercolour of Puck, from A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The fair runs from Friday until Sunday, 11am-5pm each day. Admission is £5.
