HIGHTOWN Communities First has received £950 in funding from NIACE Dysgu Cymru to provide a learning festival event during their annual Taking Control campaign this month.

The Learn 2gether event will take place on Friday, January 16, in Hightown Community Centre from 1-6pm.

At the event there will be Hightown does Strictly Come Dancing so you can pick up technique and a routine.

You will also be able to learn how to text using your mobile and or how to use a Nintendo Wii.

There will also be an opportunity to sign up for a training course. Hightown Communities First new Winter programme is now available, or you can have a chat to other local training providers such as Yale College, Bangor University, WEA Coleg Harlech, Careers Wales, Offa Community Council and the Open University. The Wrexham Credit Union will also be attending.
