A HAMMOND School student has landed a place at one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious ballet schools.
Alice Cunningham, of Great Sutton, a Year 11 student, will study at Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet Academy.
She is the second student from the Hoole Bank School to be chosen to train at the prestigious Russian school – former student Daniel Dolan begins his final year at the academy in September.
Hammond principal Maggie Evans said: “Staff and students at The Hammond are delighted at the news that a second Hammond student will continue their dance training at The Bolshoi Academy.
“We congratulate both students on their extraordinary achievements and wish them luck in their future careers.”
