GOLFERS have been teeing off in aid of Nightingale House Hospice.

Bala Golf Club members spent a busy day on the course before enjoying a cup of tea at three (T@3), as part of the hospice’s Go yellow Campaign, which takes place every June. They raised £560.

Chirk Golf Club played host to the 12th annual charity golf day between Cadbury and Kronospans golf societies, which Kronospan won. The event raising £962.

Finally, the Chirk Golf Club Charity Sheild raised £1,415 for the hospice.

Wrexham Golf Clubs charity team challenge was due to take place yesterday, Wednesday.

Sandra Monks, community fundraiser said: “ I would like to thank all of the golf clubs and their players for their support and generosity.”
