GLYNDR University has honoured three retired professors at a special ceremony in the university’s new Catrin Finch Conference Centre.

The event was aimed at marking the trio’s significant contributions towards the research and scholarship at the university.

The retired professors – Peter Davison, Roger Linford and Kathryn Phillips, on behalf of her husband Nick, who died in May following a long illness – have been given the honorary title of emeritus professor, an award that can given by universities to highlight the achievement of key professors.

The university also gave honorary fellowships to nine former members of its board of governors, who helped the university achieve its goal of university status.
