A tennis club in Westminster Park has been awarded Club of the Year by the Cheshire Lawn Tennis Associaition.
Glan Aber LTC won the accolade at the association’s annual awards at Chester Racecourse on October 12.
Secretary Sue Britton, who also received the Volunteer of the Year award, said: “We were really delighted to win as we were runners up last year.”
Head coach Jo Trataris was also shortlisted for Development Coach of the Year.
The club ran a Dare to Wear event in aid of Cancer Research UK recently and raised more than £2,500.
