THIS Sunday, July 27, you can visit Penley Village gardens which will be open for the National Gardens Scheme charity from 2-5.30pm.
There are two gardens open on the day – one is young garden started in 2000 at 26 Oakwood Park. The second garden is at Penley Hall Stables.
By enjoying a visit to an NGS garden you will also be contributing to a number of good causes. Through garden openings, the NGS raises £2m each year for nursing, caring and gardening charities. Main beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Help the Hospices.
Penley Village gardens, LL13 0LU, opens on Sunday from 2-5.30pm. Combined admission £3.50, children free. Home-made teas at Penley Hall Stables and plants will be for sale. Gardens will be signposted.
