SAINSBURY’S in Wrexham have got the art of fundraising all wrapped up.
The store has raised a whopping £5,500 over the past three years for Nightingale House Hospice with their flower and bottle wrapping service.
Fifty pence from every wrap goes straight to the charity, and the facility can be found at their customer service desk near the front of the store.
It is a welcome boost to the hospice, which will cost £2.5m to run in 2008, only £500,000 of which will come from statutory sources.
Nightingale House provides specialist palliative care services, completely free of charge, to people across Wrexham, Flintshire, East Denbighshire, the A494 corridor and the borders.
