A HOST of community projects in Widnes have received major boosts following a £40,000 cash injection.
Schemes in Birchfield, Farnworth and Halton View are set to benefit from the grassroots funding after residents asked for certain improvements in their parts of the town.
The money comes from a joint initiative by Halton
Borough Council and The Neighbourhood Renewal Fund.
