A FAMILY fun day will be held at Trevor Basin, next to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, this Saturday.
There will be a whole range of activities and stalls to enjoy including fairground rides, facepainting, wildlife displays and entertainment from Gary Sausage and Punch and Judy.
Exhibitions and demonstrations of traditional canal crafts such as bonnet making, boatmen’s spiderweb belts, painting and crochet and rag rug making will also take place.
Many local community groups will also have displays and stalls with the local angling society running their popular Guess the Weight of the Trout competition.
The fun day will run from noon- 5pm and both admission and car parking will be free.
