GWERSYLLT Community Partnership Ltd and Wrexham County Borough Council Urban II Team are inviting members of the public to attend their information and Sunday Funday.
The Funday will be held at the Bradley Squash Courts, at the Park Sports Association Complex, Park Wall, Bradley, on Sunday, August 21, between 10am-4pm.
The Funday will include information about the proposed West Wrexham Urban II project at Gwersyllt Community Centre, to develop a new Community Resource Centre and an opportunity to view the newly opened Alyn Waters Visitor Centre, also built with Urban II funding.
People will have the chance to see what the plans for the new building and facilities are.
It's hoped the new building will be used by community groups and that community members will be able to access taster courses from local colleges and general courses run along with training information. People will also have the chance to give their views on the Gwersyllt Urban Area II area and help plan for the improvements that the residents want to see.
There will be free fair rides, demonstrations by the Army cadets, a local Judo group, morris dancers and Dave Lee, of MFM, will be there to host the day.
Activities for the whole family will be on offer, including face painting, a prize raffle and a tug-of-war.
Local groups will have the chance to promote their own activities or see how they can benefit from the new facilities. If you have a local community group or organisations that would like to participate in the Sunday Funday contact Mr Millington on 01978 364024 or Mr George on 01978 752353 at Gwersyllt Community Partnership Ltd.
