AFTER all the manager and fans at Wrexham have been through this season, it must be doubly frustrating to see players of the calibre of Carlos Edwards and Steve Roberts leave the Racecourse.
But I don't think the players themselves will get any stick from Wrexham fans.
After relegation it's inevitable players will leave. Even the most passionate Dragons fan would admit their club doesn't offer the most financially secure option for players with mortgages to pay.
I was fortunate never to be in a situation where I had to worry where my next wage packet was coming from. It's gutting for the fans to see their team stripped down to the bare bones, but the important thing is that Wrexham FC will live on.
