ANDY Abraham has been on the move since his latest tour began in October, but even by his own admission, he has no plans to slow things down.

“We’ve done over 40 shows so far, and I’ve loved every minute,” the former X Factor contestant said.

“We’ve been running up and down the country for months and it’s going really well, we’ve got 20 shows left, and the audiences have given me a great reception wherever I go.”

Andy, 44, who began his music career in 2005 after coming runner up to Shayne Ward in singing contest The X Factor, is keen for audiences to see a different side to him than just the soulful singer from a television talent show.

“My tour is a chance for fans to see another side to me,” he said.

“It’s a very energetic show, the songs are very up beat, and I’m keen for people to hear the music I’ve written myself.

“All the tracks on my last album were written by me, and I’m really proud of them.”

After the tour finishes in July, Andy plans to write a new album and organise another tour next year.

“I love keeping busy and meeting my fans,” he said.

An Evening with Andy Abraham will be at the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl, on May 3.
