NORTHWICH Vics begin their bid to return to the Football Conference at the first attempt when they travel to league newcomers Eastwood Town on August 8.
Vics fans get their first taste of Blue Square North action at the Victoria Stadium the following Tuesday when Farsley Celtic visit (7.45pm) before Solihull Moors arrive in Wincham on Saturday, August 15.
On Boxing Day and New Years Day, Cheshire rivals Vauxhall Motors the opponents with the first of the double header being played at the Motormen’s Rivacre Park.
Vics will start the season with 10-point deficit after being taken into administration.
Vics have also been drawn to face Cheadle Town in the Cheshire Senior Cup first round, to be played in November.
Witton Albion’s bid to return to the UniBond Premier at the first time of asking sees the Wincham Park club take to the road for their opening-day fixture at Spalding United.
The League released the First Division South fixtures on Wednesday and Gary Finley’s men have two home clashes in the space of a week.
After the opening-day journey to the Tulips of Lincolnshire, Witton host Rushall Olympic on Tuesday, August 18 (7.45pm) and then Belper Town on Saturday, August 22 (3pm).
On Tuesday, September 15, Albion travel to the oldest club in the world when they play Sheffield FC (7.45pm). On Boxing Day, Witton host familiar foes Cammell Laird (3pm) and on New Year’s Day, rivals Leek Town are the hosts.
Witton finish the league season on Saturday, April 24, 2010, when they host Loughborough Dynamo (3pm).
Should Witton need them, the promotion play-off semi- finals will be held week commencing April 26 with the final due to be played on Saturday, May 1.
Witton have also been drawn to play against old rivals Altrincham at Moss Lane in the first round of the Cheshire Senior Cup, to be played in November.
