RUDHEATH Social Club gave their Mid Cheshire Sunday League title hopes a boost after beating nearest rival St Joseph’s.

The Premier Division leaders claimed an impressive 3-0 victory at the only club feasibly capable of stopping Rudheath from taking the title.

Now level with St Joseph’s on 31 points, the Middlewich Road club need to avoid being defeated by eight goals to claim the title.
