SCHOOL’S out for PC Liz Stanton, Western Area’s school liaison officer.

After six years in the post with Cheshire police, Liz is packing up her chalk and blackboard and heading for pastures new.

However, she will still be able to play an integral role in engagement with schools as she is to take on the force-wide role of safer schools and young persons’ officer.

Liz said: “After six years, I feel ready to take my knowledge to a different post where I can help young people across the county.”

PC Stanton thanked those who helped her throughout the past six years.

She added: “I will miss the job and the people and characters I have met along the way.

“In the future I may not be able to visit individual schools, but I am committed to helping where possible and, if anyone has problems or issues, I will do all I can to address them.”
