TWO friendly dogs are in need of loving homes.
Eight-year-old Nell, who is thought to be a female collie-cross, and male German pointer Ellis, who is the same age, are being cared for at Five Oaks Kennels, Capenhurst.
Alison Stuart, at Five Oaks, said: “Nell was picked up on the street. She was rushed to the vets as she was very ill.
“They found she had a tumour on her ovary and all her organs were badly affected. She had an operation and has since made a tremendous recovery.
“Nell is ready for a loving home. She is very friendly and would suit an adult family.”
Ellis has never lived with young children but is very friendly and playful. He would suit an active family with older children.
