CAMPAIGNERS backing the Nantwich First Responders are urging anyone who still has petition sheets to return them by Monday, July 7.

The petition is to be handed in at 10 Downing Street on Thursday, July 10, by a delegation travelling from Nantwich including Nantwich Town councillor Bill McGinnis, petition organiser Ann Ostridge, and Rachael Broadhurst, whose husband Steve died tragically in May.

They will be joined in London by Crewe and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson.

Mrs Ostridge said: “Anyone who still has a petition could they please either send the sheets to me at 32 Volunteer Fields, Nantwich, or phone me on 01270 629803 and I will pick them up.”

The sheets can also be dropped off at the Nip In Shop, Arnold Street, Nantwich.
