MORE than 600 people blazed a trail to a fire service showcase at Winsford Fire Station on Saturday.

Fire station opens to the public

MORE than 600 people blazed a trail to a fire service showcase at Winsford Fire Station on Saturday.

Fire service personnel were on hand to show visitors around the station and demonstrate the various items of equipment on display.

A vintage fire engine, chip pan safety demonstration and entertainment from the Smoke Busters dance group, provided added interest.
