Fined for fly-tipping

A NANTWICH man has been fined nearly £500 for flytipping.

A NANTWICH man has been fined nearly £500 for flytipping.

Jamie McDermot, 30, of Albert Street, pleaded guilty to an offence in Abbotts Way, Winsford at Northwich Magistrates Court on Friday.

Lee Howe, 28, of Abbots Way, Winsford, was also fined with the offence, which took place in April. The men were charged after an in-depth investigation, which involved liaising with other agencies.

They were each ordered to pay £167 fine, £312 costs and £15 court fee - a total of £494 each.
